Discover with your local guide Mindelo with its lively markets, narrow roads and the flair of a port city. Before lunch we take you on a detour to an artist atelier. Afterwards typical local lunch with one alcohol free drink included. In the afternoon you will go on an island tour through the inner part of São Vicente with its biggest mountain Monte Verde – here you have a fantastic view over the island if weather permits. On this excursion you will learn more about the charm of this small island with its dryness, mountains and music.

Ferry Ride from São Vicente to Santo Antão and transfer to Ponta do Sol to your accommodation. On the way you will pass the old mountain road with its famous crater – the Cova crater, a dead volcano. Afterwars you will enjoy a first insight during your hike from Espongeir - Caibros. The rest of the day you have time to explore the fishing village Ponta do Sol.

After breakfast we will bring you to Cruzinha – starting point of your hike along the coastal cliffs back to Ponta do Sol. You will hike on old donkey paths passing small villages like the famous Fontainhas sitting like an eyrie on a cliff. On the way you will stop for a picnic with stunning views over the ocean. Overnight in Ponta do Sol.

Today we will take you on an excursion to the tropical Paul-Valley. On your hike you will pass plantations of sugar cane, coffee and fruits as well as mango and dragon fruit trees. On the way you will meet lovely people and smiling kids. We will stop at a grogue distillery (depending on the season) to learn more about the most popular drink of Cape Verde.

Today you will either take the morning or the afternoon ferry back to Mindelo. Transfer from Ponta do Sol to Porto Novo and ferry ride back to São Vicente. You will stay in the same accommodation like on your first night.
