Feel the sun, the ocean and the salt on your skin: You will spend the first week relaxing on Sal – white sandy beaches, turquoise ocean and mostly blue sky will await you here. Take a break from your everyday's life.The second week you will visit the least touristic places on Cape Verde – and it's worth it! You will experience the typical Cape Verdean life and see impressive landscapes – like the spectacular volcanic island Fogo.

Depending on your interests you can go diving, surfing or just relax on the miles long sandy beaches. We show you how to play Oril, the typical local board game and invite you to one of the best cocktail bars with live music. During an island tour you will learn more about the island and its people. To fill your free days with more activities you can go with us on a catamaran tour on the south coast or enjoy a sunset walk along the beach with music and drinks.

In the morning we will go to the green valley of Ribeira Grande and visit the former capital Cidade Velha which is now UNESCO world heritage. Your guide will tell you exciting stories about the old times. Afterwards, transfer to Rui Vaz and overnight in a mountain lodge on 1000m above sea level.(B/-/D)
Today we will hike for several hours through the partially green landscape of Serra Malagueta. Along the way you will meet locals at their daily work – traditional corn stamping, laundry or working on the fields. We will pass rich and diverse plants, mango trees and fields in terraces. In the afternoon transfer with beach stop to your accommodation. (B/LB/D)

Transfer to the airport and domestic flight to Fogo. Upon arrival transfer to your accommodation and guided city tour through the picturesque São Filipe. In the evening we will invite you to a dinner in the colonial town São Filipe. (B/-/D)
Hike along the Bordeira with amazing panoramic views over Pico do Fogo and Chã das Caldeiras. On the way back you can slide down over lava fields with great views over the southern part of Fogo and the Atlantic Ocean. Overnight in Mosteiros..

We will ascent through the misty forest and pass by a diverse cultivated landscape with banana-, papaya- and coffee farms – and now and then you will see some traditional farmhouses. The landscape is green and fertile due to the trade wind here. Picnic under eucalyptus trees. Overnight in São Filipe.
